Provides bunkhouse accommodation in a remote area Kidland Forest, six miles from Alwinton in a secluded location to enable adults and young people to access the outdoors. Perfect location for scouts, guides, D of E and school groups.
The centre has electricity provided by solar power and a wind turbine with backup of a fully automated diesel generator.
There is gas for cooking and hot water and a fire/stove to provide central heating. The kitchen is fitted with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
The centre can hold up to 19 persons in three bedrooms.
It has two toilets , a shower with hot/cold water.
Areas are also maintained for camping.
