The League has been providing 11 a side football for young players in the region since 1945.
Today 10,000 players between 11 and 18 years of age represent their clubs. This is the first league in the area to be awarded Charter Standard Status and is one of the largest leagues of its type in the country. Member clubs are from all parts of Northumberland.
