The Newbiggin by the Sea Heritage Partnership manages and runs the Newbiggin by the Sea Heritage Centre situated on the promenade at the north end of Newbiggin Bay.
The Centre is open regularly during summer months. The Centre contains interesting artefacts and information relating from Newbiggin’s long and interesting history.
The Partnership are currently developing a project to replace the existing building with a new Maritime Centre which will be a year round visitor, heritage and education centre based around the Mary Joicey lifeboat - Newbiggin by the Sea's last offshore lifeboat.
