Haydon Local Artists - About Us

Save Cancel

imageimageWe are a group formed from local artists in Haydon Bridge. We first got together in 2004 to celebrate the village's most famous son, victorian artist John Martin, and since then have held annual exhibitions in Haydon Bridge Community Centre.

Our painting group also meets in Haydon Bridge Community Centre. We start again after the summer holidays on 31st August and meet fortnightly thereafter between 6.30pm-9.15pm.

Some 26 Local Artists have staged another successful exhibition in the Community Centre at Haydon Bridge with 105 framed pictures in many different styles plus 53 unframed works. Even more new members have  exhibited this year; . We also displayed 101 works by the children of Haydon Bridge  First School  together with a large tapestry for the Diamond Jubilee in Haydon Bridge and the surrounding countryside. We look forward to another successful exhibition in 2013
