The Society aims to promote and encourage the study of natural history, protect the flora and fauna of North East England, and care for and extend our library and collections at
the Great North Museum: Hancock.
We manage Gosforth Park Reserve and organise field outings across Northumberland.
The Natural history society of Northumbria (NHSN) is a registered charity (number 526770)
with around 1,000 members.
