Tyne Valley N.T. Association

Our Association provides a forum for National Trust members, (including Scottish) to learn more about The National Trust in the N.E during the winter months regular meetings are held with talks on topics of interest to members. Outings and visits are arranged during the summer and funds raised for the NT.

• Wednesday, July 15, 2009 - Day Trip to Lanercost & Naworth Castle: This trip will start from Corbridge (The Angel) with a pick-up at the Tourist Office in Hexham. After Lanercost we will go on to Naworth Castle for a guided tour and Tea. Guests are welcome for anadditional charge of £2.00/hd.

• Monday, September 21, 2009 - Houses of Northumberland: This talk will be given by Richard Young. All members and others interested in the topic are very welcome to come.

• Monday, September 28, 2009 - A Holiday in Derbyshire: This holiday will go to Derbyshire staying in Buxton for 4 nights in the Palace Hotel. We travel with Tynedale Group Travel. A full program can be obtained from our Contact. Members and guests will have first choice but others can join if space is available.
