Tyne Valley N.T. Association

Our Association provides a forum for National Trust members, (including Scottish) to learn more about The National Trust in the N.E during the winter months regular meetings are held with talks on topics of interest to members. Outings and visits are arranged during the summer and funds raised for the NT.

• Wednesday, September 08, 2010 - Day Trip to MANDERSTON: After 'pickups' in Hexham, Corbridge and ?Newcastle the coach will go to Manderston where a Guided Tour + Light Lunch has been arranged. There should be time to visit the garden and shop. Guests are welcome IF sace permits.

• Monday, September 20, 2010 - Talk on "The Tudor Wedding": Linda Benneworth will deliver a talk on the customs, food and apparel for a Tudor Wedding. Open to all members and Guests are welcome to come if we are advised.

• Monday, October 18, 2010 - Talk on "The Gunners' War": Jeff Bennett will recount stories from WWI. All members are welcome to attend. Guests and interested persons are welcome if we are advised.
