The Sanctuary Wildlife Care Centre

The Sanctuary Wildlife Care Centre Logo

Our unique attraction was short-listed for the North East of England 2005 Tourism Awards in the “Best Family Experience Category” and will appeal to children (and grown-ups) of all ages.

The Sanctuary has animals including foxes, badgers, and snakes. Wildlife casualties are still accepted over the winter but donations appreciated and needed for every casualty brought into our care. We currently over 160 animals in care.

The Wild Things Roadshow is able to visit events and childrens parties throughout the year.

Staff available to run talks with animals for local WI / local groups etc and bring some animals.

Volunteers needed to help out with street collection in Morpeth on Sat 4 Dec and bagpacking at supermarkets.

Opening Times:
The Sanctuary is currently closed for the winter.

Open Day Easter 2011 to be confirmed.
