Plessey Woods Country Park

Plessey Woods Country Park is set in 100
acres of woodland, meadows and riverside.
With plenty of parking and good public transport
links, it is an ideal place for a family day out.
Plessey Woods Country Park is on bus routes
from nearby towns including Blyth, Cramlington,
Bedlington, Morpeth, Ashington and Newcastle.
Bus stops are at Hartford Bridge, Hartford Hall,
and Hartford Bridge Village.

• 14 February 2012 - Boot Camp: Provides a fun and challenging way to improve your fitness. Come and take part in this friendly army type way of training, check your ability and condition and do your best on the training circuit, tackling the assault course and other army type drills. Ages 8-16. Under 8's can attend but must be accompanied by an adult at all time. Turn up on the day.

• 16 February 2012 - Sport Road Show: The coaches will provide a range of sport activities for you to enjoy, and get better as they coach you or simply come along to enjoy. There will be a selection of sports to pick from. Ages 8-16. Under 8's can attend but must be accompanied by an adult at all time. Turn up on the day.

• 03 April 2012 - Bird/Bat Boxes: Make a home for your flying neighbours and choose to make either a bat or bird box. 7 Years and over. Bookings only
