This page of my website lets me keep the people who live in the area that I represent fully informed about the work I am doing for them.

In relation to the member’s local scheme, I am currently investigating ways to improve road safety in Heddon and to extend street lighting, and dropped kerbs for accessibility in Darras Hall.

I am involved in a review of the maintenance of our local highways. I expect that I will be able to announce next years programme in the near future.

Extensions to the speed limits in Heddon on the Wall have now been promised. The new arrangements should be in place in the next month or two.

At the area committee I was able to obtain a delay of the proposal to move Ponteland Library until the results of the Master plan exercise for Ponteland are available. It is important that all agencies take a unified approach to the future development of the village.
