Pegswood Community Project

We provide a place of support, inspiration, creativity and encouragement for disadvantaged members of the community and their families.

We target resources and progrmmes to tackle health, unemployment, poverty, social exclusion and isolation.

The emphasis is to provide a safe, stimulating environment to build self-worth, confidence, accomplishment and social cohesion.

We have provision and activities for everyone!

• 26 May 2012 - The Honey Man- Highlights Production: “The absorbing tale of an unlikely friendship that develops one summer between Misty, a 15 year-old girl, and Honey Man, an ‘Ancient’ Afro-Caribbean man who has taken up residence in a derelict cottage at the edge of the picture-postcard English village where she lives. It’s a tale of growing up and growing old, if individual responsibility and shared history, of dying bees, healing herbs and (possibly) just a little magic”. Adult £6.50/Child £4/Concs £4.50/Family £16

• 26 July 2012 - BBQ and Quiz: Bring a bottle and the sunshine with you! £4 per person. Places must be booked in advance! Raffle, quiz, great food and bags of fun!

• 18 October 2012 - Comedy Night!: Have a great night with pool supper, Bottle Bingo and Raffle.....and comedy via DVD....comedians to be arranged but will be local.
