- Schools International Market : To celebrate enterprise week the WEEN would like to invite you to help support your local school’s by visiting the market. You could pick up some early Christmas presents or taste the international food on offer from the children. Local schools will be selling food, sweets, crafts, handmade soaps and much more. The project is part of an enterprise activity organized by the WEEN designed to help the students in the Wansbeck area develop their enterprising skills. Throughout enterprise week local schools have been making goods and baking items which they will be selling on the Wansbeck international market, they will be selling products such as French Christmas cards and cakes, international muffins, African jewellery, Northumberland jam, Indian curries and a variety of goods representing cultures from all over the world. The challenge is part of Enterprise Week which is a national initiative, which this year has gone global |
