"Learn a little more about the historic environment of Seahouses within the AONB by joining Harry Beamish, National Trust Archaeologist, and Katrina Porteous, local historian and writer. Walks will last for 2-3 hours.
and will a look at the history of a larger settlement at Seahouses. Well known as a holiday centre and for boat trips to the Farnes, Seahouses has a rich history of herring fishing, curing and kippering, as well as lime and other industries. "

| Enjoy Birdwatching |
A chance to drop in for a taster session for budding birdwatchers. Experts will be on hand along the southern shore of Budle Bay, part of Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve, with telescopes to give the low down on the latest arrivals on the reserve.
