Northumberland County Carpet Bowls Association

The N.C.B.A. has 75 member clubs within Northumberland. Each club provides a venue for the sport of carpet bowling, where members meet on a regular basis for club nights, friendly matches, league games and local competitions.

The age of carpet bowlers ranges from nine to ninety and the game is accessible to able bodied and disabled players.

The Northumberland County Team play matches within the Northern Counties League, culminating in the National Inter-County Championships held at Blackpool each November.
National events are also held by the English Carpet Bowls Association including a County Champion of Champions match at Blackpool in June and a Carpet Bowls Festival at Potters in May.

• Sunday, March 14, 2010 - N.C.B.A.Top Ten Competition: Teams may be made up from any combination of clubs within the E.C.B.A.)

• Saturday, March 20, 2010 - N.C.B.A. Champion of Champions Rinks and Singles: Rinks must be made up from members of the same N.C.B.A. club. Only one single per club is allowed (£2) but more than one rink may be submitted.

• Sunday, April 04, 2010 - Northern League County Match: Northern Counties match (Date to be confirmed)
