Morpeth Library

Morpeth Library has adult fiction including large print, children and teenage sections, graphic novels, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks and magazines to borrow, local studies and family history collections, the Northern Poetry Library and the Film Collection Library. There are 11 public access computers.

• 23 May 2012 - Morpeth Library: Knitterati Group: Self-organised weekly meeting for knitters and those with an interest in handicrafts. All welcome, including beginners. Free entry, but a small contribution required to cover the cost of refreshments.

• 23 May 2012 - Harbottle, Alwinton, Biddlestone, Netherton & Whittingham Villages: Mobile Library Author Events: An exciting Wednesday afternoon event for villagers in some of Northumberland's more remote settlements. Join authors Hazel Osmond & Fiona Shaw for books and banter at Harbottle (14.10-14.30pm); Alwinton (14.40-15.20pm); Biddlestone (15.30-15.50pm); Netherton (16.00-16.40pm); Whittingham Memorial (16.50-17.10pm); and Whittingham Tower Side (17.15-17.55pm). Event sponsored by the Hexham Book Festival.
