Take home a Dragon at Hexham Library
Children's Craft workshop making the most scary mythological creature of them all - The Dragon! Come and here a story about a Northumberian Dragon and then make your own fantastic colourful dragon puppet with artist Susie Green. Materials will be supplied for children to make there own simple bendy dragon. Paper flames and fork tongue optional. Susie Green is an artist based in the North East who works With paper, found objects and simple materials to make spectacular collages and sculptures. After studying art at Newcastle University, she has recently completed a MA at Chelsea College of Art and Design, London. Tickets are available at Hexham Library and cost £4 each, Parents of the children aged 8 or under must stay for the duration of the event.
