•  Thursday, November 27, 2008Seaton Valley Community Library 10th Anniversary Celebration. "Entertainment in Blyth": To celebrate Seaton Valley Community Library's 10th anniversary and National Year of Reading there will be a special double event with historians Gordon Smith giving a presentation on the history of entertainment in Blyth and Ged Parker giving a presentation on Arthur Jefferson, Blyth theatre manager and father of Stan Laurel. Refreshments will be provided. 
•  Friday, November 28, 2008Bounce and Tickle with your Baby at Berwick Library: Songs and rhymes for babies and toddlers aged 6 months to 2 1/2 years and their parents or careers 
•  Tuesday, December 09, 2008songs for Christmas with the Border Tarts at Berwick Library: Popular local quartet, the 'Borders Tarts' entertain with a selection of light hearted Christmas songs. Coffee and Biscuits. All Welcome
