Hexham Library houses the Brough Local Studies Collection, the second largest local history collection in the county, books for adults, teenagers and children, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs, newspapers and magazines and 9 public access computers.

• 28 May 2012 - Hexham Library: Coffee Morning with mylibrary.co.uk: Enjoy a free coffee and discover all the services you can access via the 'new' library website. From renewing books to tracing your family tree, and much more. Drop-in demonstrations by librarians Fiona & Nicola.

• 06 June 2012 - Hexham Library: Jubilee Crafts: Come along to this drop-in jubilee craft session and join the fun, making a crown. This will not be a full hour craft session, but you are free to drop in between 10-30-11 (latest start time) to make a crown! Places are limited please indicate your interest by leaving your name and contact number with Hexham Library. Parents of children aged 8 years or under must stay for the duration of this event.
