Ron Curran

Ron Curran has also been a member of the Coastal Art Group for a number of years. He works mainly in watercolour. Ron has painted numerous watercolours of the River Tyne over the years and the ships that have frequented her waters'. He has also written and produced an excellent book containing many of his paintings called An Illustrated Celebration of the Industrial River Tyne (It's Ships and Men). He prefers to paint landscapes or seascapes and will accept commisions for these.
