Bolam Lake Country Park

Bolam Lake Country Park is situated in the
heart of the beautiful Northumberland
countryside surrounded by historic landscapes
and dramatic views. It has lakeside, woodland
and open grassed areas for you to enjoy.
Bolam Lake has no regular bus service but there is a
Summer Service that runs from Newcastle past the
park on a Sunday. For timetable information check the
Journey Planner website or call the Traveline.

• 25 May 2008 - The Great Frog Hunt: Help us do a survey of the amphibians of Bolam. Drop in between 10.30-12.30 and 1.30 -3.30pm to explore for frogs, toads, newts and other small residents of the damp & watery places! For the EYE project.

• 28 May 2008 - Tree-mendous: Become a tree expert, learn how to identify, write poetry and discover myths& legends of old. Drop in from 10 - 12 & 1 -3pm. Adult £1.50 child £1.00

• 29 May 2008 - Mini Beast Hunt: A hunt for all beasties mini. All equipment provided just bring enthusiasm and willingness to get dirty. Old clothes and footwear recommended. All ages. Accessible for all.
