Blyth Library: Marching to Waterloo - One Man's Journey
To mark the 200th anniversary of the battle of Waterloo Wendy Stafford of Northumberland & Durham Family History Society is giving an illustrated talk at Blyth Library with a fascinating glimpse of this decisive battle and show where a family history journey can lead you. Booking is essential.

Blyth Library: Debbie Taylor Read Regional Author Event
Debbie Taylor is coming to Blyth library to talk about her latest novel, Herring Girl . "Herring Girl is a time-slip novel investigating a century-old murder. The book is set on the bank of the River Tyne in North Shields where Debbie Taylor lives, in two main time periods: 1898 at the peak of the herring fishing boom, and 2007 over a century later”. “Wonderful.
