Located in Walkergate, the building is shared with social services. Berwick Library has books for adults, teenagers and children, audiobooks, DVDs and CDs, newspapers and magazines, a local and family history section and 9 public access computers.

• 29 May 2013 - Berwick Library: Beetles, Bugs & Butterflies with Nici: Join Nici for creepy crawly crafts and stories. Suitable for children aged 4- 8 years old. Parents or carers of children aged 8 and under must stay for the duration of the session. Please contact the library for more information and to book your free place.

• 11 June 2013 - Berwick Library: Young Persons Book Group: Berwick Young Persons Book Group with author Ann Coburn For young people age 11-14 years. Bracelet of Bones by Kevin Crossley-Holland is this month's book.
