Alnwick Bowling Club

The Officers and Members of Alnwick Bowling Club welcome you to visit our bowls club and web site.

We are fully committed to provide members, visiting and bowls touring teams with the best possible facilities, competitive play and enjoyment that can be offered in Northumberland.

The club promotes the game of bowls through league matches,County Competitions,Club Competitions, Friendly Matches and Social activities for men,women and youth.

We wish to encourage and develop a youth section.

We also invite anyone wishing to try the game to come and
"TRY BOWLS For Free for 4 Weeks"
So why not come along and give it a go.

We are sure you will enjoy it.

Any bowler experienced or inexperienced who is or has moved into the area is welcome to come and join us and enjoy the outdoor sport of flat green bowls. If coaching is required we have our own Qualified Club Coach readily available.

• 09 June 2012 - Olympic Charity Open Triples (sponsored by 'Northumberland Flying School'): This is part of the Alnwick Olympic Festival. - Total prize money £500, plus winning triple recieves 3 x 1/2 hour flights, courtesy of 'Northumberland Flying School' - Open to first 24 entries. The format will consist of 2 leagues, Round Robin, 7 ends, Winning Triple of each league play in final, 3rd place runners-up (count back), Food, Bar, Raffle, Entrance fees donated to local charities, Medal Ceremony (winning triple) on the evening of 15th June at 'The Alnwick Gardens'.
